Federal Judge Refuses to Block Tongass Timber Sale

Alaska - Federal District Judge John Sedgwick has refused to block a timber sale in the Tongass National Forest.  Environmental groups had asked for a supplemental EIS to be conducted due to a "change in the science" (more like a change in administration).  However, the Fort Mill Times reports that road construction is under way and Pacific Log and Lumber is the current high bidder for the project.
