Alaska - The Anchorage Daily News reports that Federal District Judge John Sedwick granted environmentalists requests for an injunction putting a stop to the Orion North timber sale. The project was reportedly in a roadless area and according to Earthjustice the sale would have cost about 10 times its projected revenue. According to this press release from the Center for Biological Diversity, the Judge ordered the Forest Service reassess the project in light of the high costs and limited projected revenues.
