Sage Grouse To Go Extinct Without ESA Protection?

Environmental groups are fighting to put the sage grouse under the protection of the Endandered Species Act.  The Fish and Wildlife Service is delaying any decision and is placing it on the waiting list.  You can view the FWS's announcement here.  You can also read more about the controversy at Courthouse News Service.
